My Values
I made enough money my first year to step up my game and invest in some big league gear! The quality of my images dramatically improved here on out.
2023
I picked up my camera, which my parents got for me as a grad gift back in 2016. I primarily shot for close friends and family, and I did numerous free photoshoots to build my experience and portfolio. I even got to shoot my sister's wedding! I have always known I wanted to pursue photography in some form, whether as a hobby or professionally. My entrepreneurial mindset took me to the latter form.

My Journey
I had my first travel gig for a real estate agent in Florida with my aunt, Emily Durgan. We did a business video and some professional headshots that made me fall in love with portrait photography and off-camera lighting techniques.
2023
I became a momma for the first time ever! Learning to manage a small business with a newborn was easily one of the biggest challenges.

My Journey
I made my first big education-experience investment with a trip to a photography retreat in Kauai, Hawaii, where I met so many cool people, shot some STUNNING elopements, and learned how to grow my business through my website and Google!
2024
I launched the idea of a senior rep program for the 2025-26 school year. This first year of the senior rep program has taught me so many things, and I’ve got to capture 3 STUNNING seniors all year long.

My Journey
REBRAND year! At the end of 2025, I teamed up with Nude Digital and did a complete rebrand from the bottom up. Everything from my colors, to my website, to niching down to my passion for seniors, couples, & branding. The whole essence of S’Wheat Impressions has leveled up, taking me from part-time to a full-time career photographer!

I invested over 10k in equipment and education this year, all because of my wonderful clients and their support! There’s not a moment I’m not prepared for now and can shoot in any situation, which definitely helped level up my business.

The big launch! This is the year of launching the rebrand and putting S’Wheat Impressions on the map. I am so excited for what this year means to my family and my business. I have so many new things in store and so many creative ideas I want to try this year. Here’s to all my supportive followers and friends!
